Internal Grants for Students
Student Development Fund
Do you need funding to attend and participate in an academic conference? Apply for the Student Development Fund (SDF)! The Student Development Fund grants awards of up to $500 to undergraduate students who attend academic or cultural conferences. Priority for funding is given to those who are presenting at a conference.
This is a rolling application, meaning you can apply anytime during the academic year. Please note: you must submit your application at least five business days (preferably many more!)--while the college is in session--before you need the money. Decisions about Student Development Fund awards cannot be made when the college is not in session.
Do you know someone who would like to contribute to the Student Development Fund for student travel to conferences?
Please have them contact Emily Stone if you have any questions.
Bridge to Business Award
Students who register for the Bridge to Business program may apply for funding to help defray costs. Awards are typically in the $1,000 to $1,200 range depending on funding availability.
Submit a brief (1-2 page, 300-500 word) statement discussing your interest in and reasons for wanting to participate in the Women's Bridge to Business program. What are your long-range goals (as you understand them) and how do you think Bridge to Business might relate to those goals?
Advantage Awards
Students who have a GPA of 2.75 or above and who did not receive an Advantage Award at the time of admission may apply for an award to support either study abroad, an internship, or mentored research. Students must have completed 4 semesters and 60 credit hours at 91³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø before applying (exceptions will be considered for transfer students).
