Amaris Bronner '15
Psychology
Amaris Bronner graduated from 91³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø in 2015 with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Business Management. She is originally from Atlanta and currently lives in Pensacola, Florida. She is pursuing a MA in Industrial-Organizational (I-O) Psychology at the University of West Florida (UWF). At UWF she has worked as a research assistant in the Workforce Issues Lab and she has worked at the Center for Applied Psychology as an I-O Psychology Consultant. When asked about 91³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø, she wrote “the best thing about attending 91³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø was being in a unique and enriching environment that cultivated me into becoming a leader. I became highly involved in leadership roles (e.g. Orientation Council Director, Psi Chi President), was given several opportunities (e.g., internships, research, travel), and personal support from faculty/staff that I know I would not have gotten elsewhere. 91³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø truly helped shape me into the person I am today.” Her favorite experience with 91³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø Psychology was conducting research and presenting at conferences. She worked in both Dr. Hughes’ and Dr. Brown’s research labs. She also enjoyed serving as a teaching assistant for Dr. Hughes and helping other students with their research. Those experiences really helped her to grow in the area of psychology and prepared her for graduate school. Her photo was taken at Pensacola City Beach.
